Move a domain to another registrar
Two switches and a code. What we do not do is make it hard — but fourteen of our extensions cannot move at all.

A domain you registered with us is yours to move. There is no fee, no notice period and nothing to ask permission for — the whole job is turning off a lock and handing over a code.
What to do
Before you start
Take a copy of your ডিএনএস records. The zone does not travel with the name, so whoever runs ডিএনএস after the move needs the same records typed in again — and the mail records are the ones people forget until mail stops.
Point the domain at its new ডিএনএস before the transfer completes, not after. Do it in that order and the moment of transfer changes nothing a visitor can see.
Fourteen names that cannot move
Some registries do not run registrar transfers at all. Of what we sell that is .bd, .com.bd, .net.bd, .org.bd, .uk, .co.uk, .org.uk, .me.uk, .nz, .co.nz, .net.nz, .org.nz, .au and .co.za.
How long does it take?
Five days for the extensions that use the standard process, and it is a deliberate wait rather than a queue. Since 2018 the registrant no longer has to approve by email; instead we email you that the transfer has been requested and you have five days to stop it if it was not you.
Do I lose the time I have paid for?
No. The remaining registration goes with the name and the new registrar adds a year on top. The one case where a year appears to vanish is renewing at the old registrar after expiry and transferring within the following weeks — tracking a transfer explains why, and why waiting is the cheaper move.
