Terms of service
The agreement between you and HostBari when you buy a domain, a hosting plan, a mailbox or a certificate from us.
Who we are
HostBari sells domains, hosting, email and certificates to customers in Bangladesh and abroad, and operates from Dhaka. Where a service depends on a registry or an upstream supplier, their rules apply on top of ours and we say so at the point it matters rather than burying it here.
Your account
One account, and the email address on it is how we identify you. Keep it reachable: password resets, renewal notices and registry verification all go there, and an address that bounces is how people lose domains.
You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything a colleague or contractor does with credentials you gave them. Tell us as soon as you think an account has been reached by somebody who should not have it.
Paying for things
Services are billed in advance for the term you choose. Prices on the site include ভ্যাট where it applies, and the renewal price is shown beside the first-term price everywhere we can show both — because the renewal is the number you live with.
An unpaid invoice suspends the service it pays for, and suspension stops the site and the mail rather than deleting anything. Nothing is removed while an invoice is merely late; what is at risk is a domain reaching its registry deadline, which is a clock we do not control.
What we commit to
We keep the platform running and answer support in Bengali and English. Where we publish an availability figure, the service level agreement says how it is measured and what happens if we miss it.
What we do not promise: that a third party will keep selling something we resell, that a registry will not change its rules or its prices, or that a backup replaces your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Ending the arrangement
You can stop at any time by not renewing, and you can take your domains with you — no fee, no notice period, and nothing to ask permission for. We may suspend or close an account for non-payment or for a breach of the acceptable use policy, and we tell you which it is rather than leaving you to guess.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of Bangladesh, and the courts of Dhaka have jurisdiction. Some services also sit under the rules of a registry or a supplier abroad, and the countries we cannot serve at all are listed in the knowledge base.
