Which servers can it back up?+
Linux KVM VPS, Linux dedicated servers and Windows dedicated servers. It is not for a shared hosting account — that already has its own backup, and Xcitium covers the site and database on it.
What does it cost?+
It is priced per gigabyte of backup space, and the rate is not published — tell us how many servers and roughly how much data, and we will quote before you commit to anything.
Can several servers share one account?+
Yes, for servers in the same region. Machines in the United States back up under one account and machines in Asia under another, because the copies stay in the region the server is in.
Does it renew with my server?+
No. It has its own term and is renewed separately, so renewing the VPS does not renew the backup. We send the reminder for it on its own date.
How do I get more space?+
Add it from the order page whenever you need it. There is no need to move to a different plan and nothing is interrupted while it is added.
Can I restore onto a different server?+
Yes, as long as the agent is installed on the machine you are restoring to. That is what makes it useful for moving a server as well as for recovering one.
Can I download a backup?+
Yes, from the panel to your own machine, so the copy is not only ours to hold.
