What you get

A copy of one without the other restores a site that does not work. Both are taken at the same moment.

Every version is kept, so you can return to the day before the change that broke it.

Any version can be downloaded as an archive, so the copy is not only ours to hold.

Questions

Does hosting not already include a backup?

It does, and it lives on the same platform as the site. This one lives somewhere else, which is the whole point of a backup.

How long does a restore take?

Minutes for a single file, and for a whole site as long as the site is large. You start it and watch it finish.

Which databases are supported?

MySQL, which is what a website on our hosting almost always uses. Anything else needs a word with support first.
