Is the machine managed?

The hardware, the network and the power are ours. The operating system above them is yours, and if you would rather it were not, say so and we will quote for managing it.

How long does setup take?

A dedicated machine is built rather than cloned, so allow a working day. You are told the moment it is ready.

When is a VPS enough?

Almost always, until it is not. Move to a dedicated machine when you need the whole disk to yourself, or when a licence you pay for is counted per host.
