A premium domain is one that is registered and offered for resale. They are short, they read as words rather than as spellings, and they usually arrive with traffic and search history already attached.

Length

Short names are finite and long gone. The premium is mostly the price of not having to add a word.

Recall

A name somebody can repeat down a phone without spelling it is worth real money in a business that takes calls.

History

An established name often carries links and type-in traffic that a new registration starts without.

Renewal at the standard rate

The premium is paid once, at purchase. After that it renews at the ordinary price for its extension.

How is the price decided?

By the person selling it. We show the asking price from the registry or marketplace holding the name, and we add nothing to it beyond our ordinary registration fee.

How long does the purchase take?

Usually a few days. Some names transfer immediately; others need the current holder to release them, and we will tell you which before you pay.

Is a premium name better than a new extension?

Often not. A short name on .shop or .com.bd costs a fraction and reads just as well. Consider premium when the exact word matters more than the price.
