Find the EPP code for a domain
The password that authorises a move — where it lives, and what to do when the panel will not show it.

An ইপিপি code — also called an auth code, a transfer key or a domain secret — is a password held by the registry that proves you are allowed to move a name. No transfer starts without one.
Moving a domain to us
The code comes from whoever holds the domain today. Every registrar shows it somewhere in the panel, usually next to the transfer lock on the domain page, and often only after the lock is off.

Moving a domain away from us
Why does the code not work?
Three usual reasons. It was copied with a trailing space; it contains characters an email client turned into something else, so retype rather than paste; or it was regenerated after you copied it, which some panels do every time the page is opened. Ask for it once, use it immediately.
Is the code the same as my account password?
No, and it should never be your account password. It belongs to the domain rather than to you, it is stored by the registry, and handing it to the new registrar is the whole point of it — which is exactly why it is worth regenerating after a transfer you decided not to finish.
