Transfer a domain to HostBari
Unlock, fetch the EPP code, and keep a year of registration.
Updated 29 Aug 2026
A transfer adds a year to whatever registration you already have — you never lose paid time by moving. Prices are on the domain transfer page.
- Unlock the domain at your current registrar and confirm you can read the admin email in WHOIS.
- Get the EPP (auth) code. Most registrars show it immediately; codes are typically valid for 14 days.
- Submit the transfer here. We copy your DNS zone first, so mail and the website keep working during the move.
- Approve the confirmation email. The registry completes the move in five to seven days.
Why was my transfer refused?
Registries block transfers within 60 days of registration or of a previous transfer. .bd names are managed by BTCL and do not support standard EPP transfers — open a ticket and we will handle the registry paperwork with you.
Do I lose the time left on my registration?
No. The year a transfer adds sits on top of whatever is left, so a domain with eight months remaining comes out with twenty. Once it lands, point it at your hosting.
