Selling under your own name

What your customers see, what they never see, and the one place our name can still surface if you let it.

Updated 03 Sept 2026

A reseller account is meant to be invisible. Your customers buy from you, pay you and write to you; we are the infrastructure underneath and they have no reason to learn our name.

What already carries your identity

The invoices you send, the prices you set, the support you answer. None of that passes through us, so there is nothing to configure — it is yours because you are the one doing it.

Nameservers are the part worth setting up

The one place your customers routinely look at a hostname is the nameservers they are told to set. ns1.hostbari.com in that field tells them exactly who is behind you.

Where our name can still surface

Three places, all avoidable. A certificate issued for a hostname under our domain names our domain — issue it under yours. A control-panel link you paste from your own dashboard carries our address; give customers the branded one. And a support reply forwarded verbatim carries whatever we wrote to you.

Do my customers get accounts with you?

No. They exist on your reseller account, they sign in to the panel you give them, and they have no login here. When something needs escalating to our engineers it reaches us through you, with your customer anonymised.

Can I use my own domain for the control panel?

Ask us. The nameservers are the case that matters and the one customers actually see; a branded panel address is worth doing after that rather than before, because it changes nothing about what the service does.
